WHAT WE DO NOT PAY FOR? After Market components or any component not supplied as Original Equipment by the vehicle manufacturer like parts meeting manufacturer’ specifications are not covered. Any Alterations or Modifications! GPS/ Entertainment Systems, light bulbs/headlights; weather stripping; body panels; normal fluid/oil lubricant seepage; canvas, vinyl or fabric tops; satellite/GPS systems; video systems; remote compact disc changers; shop supplies, hazard waste removal; body adjustments; buttons, handles, door hinges, glass; service adjustments and cleaning; retrofits or replacements of any components caused by or due to compliance with law or legislation including the 1990 Clean Air Act, and including emission control equipment and sensors.
-EXCLUSIONS- WHAT THIS VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT DOES NOT COVER• *** This Contract does not cover the following: No claims or Roadside assistance benefits will be paid on any claims or failures that occur within the “waiting period”. (30-days) *** Repair or replacement of a covered component/part to correct conditions that may reasonably be assumed to have existed at the inception date of the coverage provided by this Contract (Pre-existing conditions); *** A Breakdown caused by lack of manufacturer’s specified maintenance; A Breakdown caused by contamination of or lack of proper fuels, fluids, coolants or lubricants, including a Breakdown caused by a failure to replace seals or gaskets in a timely manner; (Negligence) *** Any cost covered by a repairer’s or supplier’s guarantee, or any cost which would normally be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty; *** Replacement costs for any upholstery, paint, nuts, bolts, fasteners, fuses and fuseable links; *** A Breakdown caused by collision, fire, electrical fire or meltdown, theft, freezing, vandalism, flood, or for any hazard insurable under standard physical damage insurance policies whether or not such insurance is in force with respect to the vehicle; *** Loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits or savings, inconvenience, commercial loss, or other incidental or consequential damages or loss that results from a Breakdown; *** Liability for damage to property, or for injury to or death of any person arising out of the operation, maintenance or use of the vehicle, whether or not related to a Breakdown; *** Any costs or benefits for which the manufacturer has announced its responsibility through any means including public recalls or factory service bulletins; *** Any part not covered by, or excluded by the original vehicle manufacturer's warranty; *** Vehicle that have been modified in a manner that increases the likelihood of a Breakdown; *** Continued operation of an impaired vehicle which causes further damage is not covered. *** Vehicles that do not have a valid V.I.N, or are titled as branded, salvaged, junk, rebuilt, totalled or flood damaged. *** Commercially used vehicles (unless surcharge has been applied). Typical Exclusions We do not cover glass, lenses, sealed beams, light bulbs, trim, moldings, bright metal, upholstery, paint, exhaust systems, tires, air bags, batteries, brake rotors, drums, shock absorbers, throttle bodies, etc. These are standard exclusions, don't let it bother you. |
This Contract Covers All your vehicle’s parts: INCLUDING THESE! Carburetor, Battery & Battery Cable Harness, Standard Transmission Clutch Assembly, Friction Clutch Disc & Pressure Plate, Distributor Cap & Rotor, Safety Restraint System including Air Bags, Glass, Lenses, Sealed Beams, Light Bulbs, Fuses, Circuit Breakers, Cell Phones, Game Centers, Speakers (Except Original factory Installed), Audio/Video Equipment, TV/VCR/DVD Players, Global Positioning/ Navigation Systems, All touch Screen and or Voice Activated Accessories, Electronic Transmitting / Receiving Devices, Voice Recognition Systems, Remote Control Consoles, Radar Detection Devices, Brake Rotors & Drums, ALL Exhaust Components and the following Emission Components: EGR Purge Valve/Solenoids/Sensors, Vacuum Canister, Vapor return canister, Vapor Return Lines/Valves, Air Pump/Lines/Valves, Catalytic Converter/Filtering/Sensors, Emission Vapor Sensors, Gas Cap/Filler neck, Weather Strips, Trim, Moldings, Bright Metal Chrome, Hardware or Linkages, Tires/Wheels, External Nuts, Bolts & Fasteners are not covered unless specifically listed in the schedule of coverage’ s (except where required in conjunction with a covered repair). (b) The following lubricated internal parts: pistons, pins & rings, connecting rods & bearings; crankshaft & main bearings; camshaft, followers & cam bearings; push rods, valves, springs, replaceable guides, seats & lifters; rocker arms, shafts & bushings; timing gear, chain, tensioners & retainers; eccentric shaft; oil pump. (d) All lubricated internal parts of the vehicle manufacturer installed turbo-charger or supercharger. The housing is covered ONLY if damaged by the failure of a lubricated internal part. (2) TRANSMISSION. (a) Transmission case, transfer case & torque converter case, ONLY if damaged by the failure of a lubricated internal part. (b) All lubricated internal parts contained within the cases. (c) Computer modules & solenoids; filler tube & dipstick; vacuum modulator; internal linkage. |
| WHAT WE COVER (99.5% of your vehicle) |
| Towing - when towing is necessary, the covered Vehicle will be towed to a service facility (not more than 3miles) and we pay %30-50% • Battery Service - if a battery failure occurs, a jump-start may be applied to start the covered Vehicle. We do not pay for battery replacement because batteries come with manufacturer’s warranty. • Flat Tire Assistance - if a flat tire occurs, service consists of removal of the flat tire and its replacement with your inflated spare tire. • Rental - In the event of a covered mechanical failure, there will be reimbursement for 30% of the actual expenses. We do not pay for car rental instantly ( contact us with your receipt). Rentals must be done through Hertz, Enterprise, Thrifty, National, Dollar and Orbitz only. Wear and Tear Coverage Included Wear and Tear coverage means that parts do not have to break for you to be covered. Should a part or component wear out prematurely it is covered. Wear is defined as “can no longer perform the function for which it was designed solely because of its condition". When the part or component has worn beyond the manufacturer's tolerances allowed for a particular vehicle at the mileage when the problem occur the part or component is covered. Parts that are considered “normal maintenance” parts are not covered under a Wear and Tear option. These would be items like brake pads, shoes, drums or rotors, and manual clutches. GASOLINE/ DIESEL ENGINES: All internally lubricated parts to include: Camshaft & Bearings, Intake & Exhaust Valve, Valve Springs, Valve Guides, Pushrods, Lifters, Rocker Arms, Rocker Shafts, Cam Belt/Chain, Timing Gears, Timing Guides and Tensioner, Pistons, Piston Pins and Rings, Connecting Rods and Bearings, Crankshaft and bearings, Flywheel, Harmonic Balancer, Diesel Vacuum Assist Booster Pump, Oil Pump and it’s gears and pick up screen. The Engine Block, Cylinder Head(s), Valve Cover(s), Timing Cover and Oil Pan are covered only if damaged by an internally lubricated component. Rotary Engine: All internally lubricated parts to include: rotors, rotor chambers, eccentric shaft, bearings, seals & gaskets for listed components only. |

(3) DRIVE AXLE. (a) Differential housing, transaxle housing &
final drive housing, ONLY if damaged by the failure of a
lubricated internal part. (b) All lubricated internal parts contained
within the housings. (c) Axle shafts; constant velocity joints (CV);
universal joints; drive shafts; locking hubs; locking rings; supports,
retainer & bearings.
4) ELECTRICAL. Alternator; combination turn signal switch;
controllers; cruise control transducer, engagement switch & servo;
distributor; gauges; horn buttons & horns; motors; pole pieces;
power door locks; vacuum pumps; washer pumps; relays;
solenoids; speed sensor; starter; manually operated switches;
voltage regulator; window defroster; window regulators; wiring
harnesses for listed covered components.
(5) STEERING. (a) Gear housing ONLY if damaged by the failure
of a lubricated internal part. (b) All lubricated internal parts
including: rack & pinion; power steering pump. (c) Main &
intermediate shafts; couplings; cooler & cooler lines; power
cylinder; Pitman arm; idler arm; tie rod & tie rod ends, link &
control valve.
(6) AIR CONDITIONING. Compressor; condensor; clutch pulley
& clutch coils; evaporator; POA valve; accumulator; orifice; “H”
valve; expansion valve; serpentine belt tensioner; temperature
control programmer; power module; idler pulley & bearing; ducts
& outlet hoses; blower motor; receiver/dryer. If the air conditioning
system is unable to be repaired due to the shortage, unavailability,
or restriction of CFCs by Federal Mandate (i.e. free-on, R-12) then
we do not have any further obligation for repair of the air
conditioning system under this Contract. We have no obligation to
install a retrofit kit on your vehicle that would allow use of any
alternative to CFCs.
(7) SUSPENSION. Upper & lower control arms, shafts &
bushings; upper & lower ball joints; steering knuckles; stabilizer
shaft, linkage & bushings; kingpin & bushings; spindle & spindle
supports; torsion bars, coil & leaf springs; wheel bearings.
(8) BRAKES. Master cylinder; power assist booster; vacuum assist
booster pump; wheel cylinders; combination (proportioning)
valves; hydraulic lines & fittings; disc calipers; power brake
cylinder backing plates; springs, clips and retainers; self-adjusters;
parking brake linkage and cables; and rear actuators.
(9) ELECTRONIC HIGH-TECH. Level control compressor,
sensors & limiter valve; pneumatic suspension pump, sensors &
valves; ignition module; spark control detonation sensors &
controller; integrated circuit chips; driver information display &
module; keyless entry system; electronic coil packs; moisture
control unit & sensors; anti-detonation sensors; vehicle
manufacturer installed anti-theft device; the following parts of the
Anti-locking Brake System (“ABS”): electronic wheel sensors; pump
& pressure control module.
“PLATINUM” COVERAGE (In addition to the coverage listed in
“Deluxe” Coverage above, “Platinum” Coverage includes the
following):
(10) COOLING. Radiator; fan & fan clutch.
(11) FUEL DELIVERY. Fuel injectors; fuel pumps; fuel lines; fuel
tank; pressure regulator.
(12) SEALS, SEALING BOOTS & GASKETS. For the
components/parts listed above.
(13) AUDIO CENTER. Vehicle manufacturer installed (in dash)
entertainment chassis modules including radios, magnetic tape
players/recorders, compact disc players, graphic equalizers.
Coverage does not include video equipment or remote compact
disc players.
AIR CONDITIONING: Compressor Assembly including its Head Plate, Pistons, Rods, Shafts, Reed Valves and Bearings; Compressor Clutch Assembly including its Hub, Plate, Coil Pulley and Bearings; Condenser, Evaporator, Accumulator/Receiver Dryer and Orifice Tube; Seals & Gaskets for listed components only. (Factory Installed Only) BRAKES: All internal parts of the Master Cylinder, Vacuum Assist Booster, Disc Calipers, Wheel Cylinders, Compensating Valve, Metal Hydraulic Lines and Fittings, Seals & Gaskets for listed components only . FUEL: Mechanical and Electrical Fuel Pump, Fuel Injection Pump, Fuel Nozzles, Lines and Tank Filler Neck COOLING SYSTEM: Water Pump, Fan and its Fan Clutch, Primary Cooling Fan Motor is also covered on those vehicles not equipped with a Fan Clutch. (Air conditioning Condenser Cooling Fan Motor Is Excluded From Coverage). ELECTRICAL: Starter and Alternator to include: Wiring Harness, Voltage regulator. Manually operated Switches, Front and Rear Windshield Wiper Motors, Power Seat Motors and Power Window Motors. ENHANCED ELECTRICAL: All Power Motors and Solenoids related to the electrical operations of: Antenna, Door Locks, Power Head Light Motors, Seat Motors, Mirror Motors, Convertible Top Motors and Power Trunk Release. FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TRANSFER UNIT: All internally lubricated
parts to include: Chain, Viscous Coupling, Gears, Bearings, and shafts,
Seals and gaskets for listed components only. The transfer case is also
covered only if damaged by the above listed internally lubricated
components.
AUDIO SYSTEM COVERAGE: We do not pay for this
LABOR: Labor hours determined by currently published, nationally
recognized, flat rate guides (e.g. : ALLDATA, Mitchell, Motors, etc.).
The labor rate will be determined by nationally accepted industry
standards, which vary based on a number of factors including, but not
limited to: the geographic region, type of repair facility and type of
repair being performed. You use the repair facility of YOUR
choice (dealer, national chain, local mechanic) and we pay
your claim quickly and efficiently over the phone via our
corporate credit card.
EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE :
The following sign and drive Emergency Roadside Assistance benefits
are available for the Term of Your Contract, 24 hours a day / 365 days
a year anywhere in the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii)
and Canada. For Emergency Roadside Assistance, you must first call

DIFFERENTIAL: All internally lubricated parts to include: Ring,
Pinion and Spider Gears, carrier and all Bearings, Axles, Constant
Velocity Joints (excluding Boots), Drive Shaft(s), Universal Joints, Seals
& Gaskets for listed components only. The differential case/housing is
also covered only if damaged by its internally lubricated components
TURBOCHARGER / SUPERCHARGER / INTERCOLLER: Vanes,
Main Shaft and Bearings, Seals and Gaskets for listed components
only. The Turbo/Supercharger Housing is also covered only if
damaged by its internally lubricated components. (Belts, Turbo Oil
Feed and Return Tubes are EXCLUDED from Coverage under this
contract.)(Factory installed Only) - OPTIONAL.
TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE (AUTOMATIC or STANDARD):
All internally lubricated parts to include: Torque Converter, Oil Pump,
Valve Body, Governor, Bands, Drums, Planetaries, Sun Gear and Shell,
Sprag(s), Shaft(s), Bearings and related Bushings, Shift Rails, Forks,
Synchronizers, Seals & Gaskets for listed components only. The
Transmission Case, Bell Housing and Oil Pan(s) are also covered only
if damaged by the above internally lubricated components .
NOTE: TRANSMISSION CLUTCH PARTS ARE NOT
COVERED AT ANY TIME.
